I went to Alalanta to see Sam III today. He was doing fine. The doctor has removed the button from his treac and it is healing up. As a result of removing the button, air escapes though the gause bandage when Sam speaks. He is using his hand to cover the bandage to force the air through his throat. Of course this makes it hard for him to talk for a few days until it fully closes.
I went to PT and Kelly showed me how to get Sam into and out of a car. Sam is almost ready to travel out of the hospital on a day pass.
Sam a couple of baby Krystal burgers for lunch. He can use his hands to eat them.
Thank you all of the prayers. Please keep them coming!

Great news about the treac!!! And Krystal burgers... yum! Sounds like I need to go down to Americus and get some of Monroe's gravy fries for you. Looking forward to hanging out this weekend. There well be some good football on TV so we can watch Auburn whoop Alabama. Nothing new down here. Bob's been hanging around the house helping out a lot. He started painting the "cave room" last night. It's looking much better. Take care and work hard during therapy. Love you,
George
Great news to hear about the treac as well.Sounds like I need to go down to Atlanta to the Varsity and get some hot dogs and pimento chili cheese burgers.I'm actually looking forward to hanging out last weekend. There will be some good football on TV so we can watch Aurburn whoop the stew out of Georgia.( in Auburn)Everythings new up here. Bob's has not been hanging around the house and not helping me out a lot.He didn't start painting anything yet and it's not looking any better.Did I just say that?.Did they hear me?Maybe I was just subconsciouly thinking it all along and waitng for the perfect moment for it all to happen.Because moments can last as long as you like, even all week.Whoof!Whoof!
Proud of You,
D
Lanford:You took that as well as you ever have taken any whoopin' as long as I have known you. It was do to your pure dedication to your brother and I just wanted to let you know I'm proud of you as well. And for the effort that you gave this weekend we all are winners.Never have you been so busy with a something that you cared about so much that you didn't even realize it was Saturday and football was on.So we will call it a tie until next year.Except for you Bob.If you can't answer the phone and take the heat like a man, or at least act like you were so busy working you didn't even notice the score. You are getting it all year LLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOONNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG!
Howdy Sam,
Monroe's & the Varsity sound great.I haven't had either one in at least 2yrs, & now I want some!! Krystal's... I can't eat them anymore since I've learned they are made mostly of the liver meat (to keep them together--they are so small), though it is healthier than most of the other burger franchise conglomerations.I swear I can taste it.(Sorry for telling that secret).
Now as far as football, do you really believe Auburn can beat Alabama this weekend? Cox looked a little shaky with his ankle. You saw what the DAWGS did to them last weekend. I truely enjoyed seeing all of the "orange" colored fans filing out of the statium at the beginning of the 4th qtr. My deepest sympathy to the AU fans. All jokes aside, I was hoping Auburn would be the top representative of the SEC because I have such a strong aversion towards Florida. My rule of thumb coincides with anything that has the color orange associated with it. (Sorry I didn't mean to turn this into a football forum).
Great news on the trac hole. It should be closed up in no time. Just think 1 step closer. Are you giving any input to the decor of your "man room"? It'll be interesting to hear about the finished product. I have no doubt that your friends & family will have it ready for MTV Cribs (hee-hee). How exciting!!! Take care & have a great weekend.
love, polly
Hey "D". What hhappened to your Tigers ? I thought they were a ranked team but the DAWGS thumped them good. ha ha
