Sam III had a pretty good day. Started off a little slow. He was having problems breathing while having his breakfast, so he didn't eat much food. He took some pain meds around lunch as began to feel a little better.
George and LeeAnne were here for the weekend.
We almost got into trouble taking Sam out of the room without his crash cart. The nurses sent us back for it.
Susie came by in the afternoon.
Have you checked the list to see all of the great stuff being donated for the Silent Auction! Please go to the auction if you possibly can! Thanks all!

So we take the bad with the good. Some days are roses, and some are dandelions. At least we are where the Son can shine on us. Yep, while I had my mouth wired shut I could go nowhere without my suction cart and a pair of wire cutters. That was a scary time. It gets better. Things like "This too shall pass" and "One day at a time" were good at getting me through. Talking about having to drag your crash ca=rt everywhere with you..... My first church service, Pastor Ken came and unplugged my bed, made sure my IV was flowing and filled and away we went down to the auditorium where they hold the services. I had quite a parade going through the halls.
THe auction items are awesome. The Loft and all the people connected to it is awesome. Sam3 you are awesome and an inspiration. Your attitude exudes strength. I hope ya'll get to go to the service tomorrow. I found them quite inspirational. There was also a funny side to them. You are familiar with weight shifts and no doubt have a little timer set for 30 minutes. Well in that\ room during the service the timers are not synchronized and it is almost musical to hear them chiming from corner to corner of the room. And you have been there long enough to know whast you will hear next. A power chair tilting backwards or a seatbelt being unfastened.... You get the picture.
Well I have babbeled way too long. S3 I hope you have a rose of a day tomorrow.

If I could be a bird,I'd be a Flying Purple People Eater because then people would sing about me and I could fly down and eat them because I hate that song.
DEEP THOUGHTS by Jack Handy
Sam,
Hey there, it's Doobie. I apologize for waiting so long before I had a chance to write to you again. The latest news I hear from Curtis is that you are doing better and that your spirits are high; I know that you can excel in any challenges that come your way. I love you and your family and hopefully I can see you soon.

'mornin sam-
The rain's pummelling down on the tin roof making you want to pull covers over your head and stay in bed all day, but had to get up and check on my boy.And what do I find?
Breaking rules. Getting sent to your room. Knew trouble was going to start soon just because. And, as additional incentive, u always had a thing for Nurse Ratchet and will be breakin rules accidentllyonpurpose.
I have been pleased to read whenever you are in discomfort they make it go away like magic. We don't want you hurting.
