Hey, Young Sam. Enjoyed meeting Old Sam and GoGo last weekend. We rolled out a streamlined version of the Dr. Bongo acoustic unit for you Saturday night. It was kind of premature but went okay with the help of Brian Fowler on mandolin and his son, Charles, on congas. Mothershed said we sounded pretty good. I did one on the 12-string, one on the lap steel Hawaiian guitar, and one on my Martin. Jim got inspired and drove up to Montgomery the other day and bought a new Martin. Hope it helps his playing (hahahhaaa)!

Glad to read this morning that you have moved to an actual room with a real address. Look for a package in the mail. I just ordered it, so it probably won't arrive until next week. Ask Old Sam to bring you a laptop and some headphones for a few hours and keep an open mind.

Gotta go set fence posts so that my crazy puppy Giulie will have a proper yard. She's terrorizing the golf course when I let her outside and shredding whole rolls of toilet paper if I leave her inside. Beth also wants me to build a Roman colisseum-style viewing gallery ledge thing on the side of the house so the cats can extract a measure of revenge by taunting her from safe distance.

Later,
Dennis (er, I mean, Dr. BONGO!)

Good afternoon noon,
Checking your blog site is daily inspiration for me.Good to hear about the new & more spacious accomodations. I bet being off of that ventilation is itself uplifting. Keep it up & continue to work hard. PT can be a real butt-kicker for some, but I have a feeling you'll do extremely well. Do you remember Kathy Worhley who used to work w/me at Mr. Billiards? Well she' getting married next month & I thought you & a few others might want to know (Nov 4th). She asks about you just about on a daily basis & send her prayers & thoughts. Please take care & I'll chat more later.
love, polly.
